Meet Our New Intern: Danielle

Hello, friends and family of Book*hug! My name is Danielle, but unless you’re a traditionalist, please feel free to call me Dani. You can also call me D, but as you may or may not know, that letter has been corrupted by the Internet.

… Anyway, I’m Book*hug’s newest intern. It’s nice to meet all of you! For the next couple of weeks, I’ll be contributing remotely to the blog. I’m excited to talk to you about books: what you’re reading (I just finished Rebecca Tucker’s A Matter of Taste) and what’s important—or helpful, or enjoyable—to read during this uncertain time. As both a Publishing and a Creative Writing student—current and former, respectively—I believe in the bracing power of literature. I hope to help make this blog an anchor to humanity, to sanity, and, of course, to a lot of really good writing.
