Jay Gamble will introduce attendees to some avant garde poetic strategies, including but not limited to: constraint-based, aleatory, and procedural verse. Taking these kinds of strategies as a starting ground, we will explore the linguistic possibilities that non-traditional, innovative poetry reveals.
