Reading with Adrienne Gruber, author of Buoyancy Control

Joy Kogowa House 1450 West 64th Avenue, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

An outdoor evening of lemonade, coconut cake and the unread poems we haven’t managed to read from our books ourselves.

Adrienne will read Elee who will read Ali who will read Adrienne and so forth. We've set ourselves the challenge of handing over the poems we have not yet read at our own readings for a number of reasons: too risky? too sexy? too complicated? We love these poems and hearing them in each other's voices will be an interesting shift in perspective.
