Step inside R&B Brewing for a spectacular lineup of local talent whose words will (literally) move you. Leanne Dunic is the lead singer of the band The Deep Cove; Elaine Woo’s East Van poems have been adapted as art songs; Jillian Christmas is the Artistic Director of Verses: A Festival of Words; and Molly Billows is reimagining the future through poetry. Each has their own approach to music and/or performance poetry that you won’t want to miss. Just because the sun hasn’t gone down, doesn’t mean we can’t get down!
