Huyghebaert’s Governer General’s Literary Award-winning novel Remnants questions the value of life in its duration and passing: what is left of someone who was not important enough to be archived? Jónsdóttir presents Quake, a haunting novel about a woman who comes out of a seizure only to find her toddler missing.
