Indigo Speaks presents Shannon Webb-Campbell, author of I am a Body of Land.

We are excited to kick off our first event “Indigo Speaks” with special guest speaker Shannon Webb-Campbell on February 23 at 17:30.

To enter the contest, participants will pay $5 at the door. That money will be used to fund the various rewards that we will be offering to the winner of the contest, such as an Indigo Gift Card. Participants will each have two minutes to share their work with the audience. (Poetry, Short Stories, a rap, a sample of your book, etc)

Make sure to have at least 3 pieces prepared for the event in case we need a tie breaker.

The people judging “Indigo Speaks” will be randomly selected from the audience.

RULE: It has to be your own written work and the only instrument that you can use is your own voice.

Also don’t forget to pick up Shannon Webb Campbell’s newest book I am a Body of Land available in store ’til February 29th, 2020

We encourage everyone to come out and join us. This is an opportunity to share work as creative writers, meet new people, bounce ideas and most of all have fun!
