Toronto International Festival of Authors presents Spring Debut: Fragmented Narratives, with Derek Mascarenhas, author of Coconut Dreams.

This spring, celebrate the budding voices of three Canadian debut authors: Tea Mutonji (Shut Up You’re Pretty, Arsenal Pulp Press), Derek Mascarenhas (Coconut Dreams, Book*hug) and Bindu Suresh (26 Knots, Invisible Publishing). The writers will join author Catherine Hernandez (Scarborough, Arsenal Pulp Press) in conversation about the experience of writing and releasing a first book, and explore commonalities in their work, including multiple narratives in short form writing.
