The dozen or so poems that make up In In My Dream shift from one to the next like the dissolves from one focus of a dream to another, or the leaps from one dream to the next in a sleep of delirium. In this way, Stuart Ross, celebrating the Poetry of Miscellany, leads his feverish readers a little closer with each page to the unanticipated wakefulness of a brand-new day.
Stuart Ross published his first literary pamphlet on the photocopier in his dad’s office one night in 1979. He is the author of eight poetry books, most recently Our Days in Vaudeville (Mansfield Press), collaborations with 29 other poets from across Canada, as well as a couple dozen chapbooks, plus a bunch of fiction and essays. Stuart lives in Cobourg, Ontario, and blogs at bloggamooga.blogspot.ca.
