Toronto International Festival of Authors presents a Festival Pop-up: Union Station, with Julie Morrissy
October 27 @ 12:00 pm - 2:00 pmFree
Toronto International Festival of Authors presents a Festival Pop-up: Union Station, with Julie Morrissy, author of Where, the Mile End.
The Toronto International Festival of Authors has partnered with Union Station again to bring the second annual “Festival Pop-up” to Toronto’s busiest commuter interchange. Hosted by Antanas Sileika, the pop-up will spotlight a select line-up of authors, as well as a “Books On Tour” Library of past Festival titles, which passersby are welcome to take home with them free of charge.
Each author will speak for up to 10 minutes each on the topic of “travel” or “journeys”, which aligns perfectly with the Union Station venue. Authors may read from and/or give a talk about their books, present new stories, or even answer questions from our audience or emcee. The event will take place in the West Wing of Union Station, immediately off the Great Hall at street level. We hope you will join us to help brighten the day of up to 250,000 commuters!
